Facebook Updates Privacy Policy
Facebook released information of their recent changes to the Private Policy on their company blog.
The highlights
- You cannot delete your birth date in your profile (current option of hiding birth date remains unchanged.)
- Your information will not be released to advertisers without your consent.
- Your friends may see ads based on your profile (example: If you join a group, your friends may see ads with that info).
- You can can DELETE your Facebook profile and your information will be removed from Facebook’s servers. (Backup data will be retained for upto 90 days).
