Say Hello to Mobilicity, “the WestJet of wireless”

Dave Wireless announced it will be known as Mobilicity when it launches its cellular service this spring.
The company will launch in Toronto in the spring of 2010, and will roll out in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa later this year.
President of Dave Wireless, Dave Dobbin said,
“We are not going to compete with the incumbents head on … Think of us as the WestJet of wireless.”
The company will:
- Sell its phones “at cost”
- Not offer contracts.
- Offer a variety of handsets, including Smartphones from Blackberry, Nokia and Sony Ericsson.

I live in Waterloo will I be able to use this provider?
As of right now, it doesn’t appear as if Waterloo may be included within the service area. It’s going to be the Greater Toronto Area (similar to what City Fido offered).
