Worked perfectly for me and I am on Rogers. It was useful to remember to turn off SSL and to change the port to 25. Thanks for posting this! Has made my life much simpler!!!

I cannot find a “properties” menu, or any other way to specify to “allow for mobile,” on the Shaw webmail. Where is this setting?

There is one step missing. You must log into Shaw Webmail Beta and under properties submit allow for mobile.

I have tried to set up my email with shaw using the directions but am still not able to connect. I have deleted my account and was hoping I could get you to help me step by step beginging with adding Shaw at the OTHER stage after Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
as I am not having an easy time.

I have an Ipad, it has the same trouble I can receive but can not senf mail’s, right now I’m in Mexico ans using WIFI, the internet is working properly. How can I setup the mail with Wifi?

Hi. I seem to have got everything working but I have my primary server ON, is there any reason why I should not have this on? I also am using port 587. Any reason not to? Thanks for your help. More progress today that for the last 3 frustrating weeks!

My Mac at home seems to be grabbing any emails I am receiving before my iPhone can get them. Sometimes my phone will get one, but then I don’t see it on my home Mac. The emails where coming through fine for 5 months on the iPhone, then just stopped, when I got the Mac.
