Shopping for an 46″ to 50″ LCD?

Like a few others, I am shopping for a new LCD TV for my home.  I came across a forum thread at RedFlagDeals detailing a few deals on a range of LCD TVs in the Greater Toronto Area.

The range is between 46″ and 47″. I will update this post as the thread gets updated.  All the credit goes out to RFD.

Here are the details:

Samsung 46″ LCD LN46B530
The brick (today only): $898

Vizio 46″ LCD 120hz SV470M-C
Costco (kanata location?): $999 rfd

Sony 46″ LCD KDL46S5100
Splendid China Tower (GTA only, Sunday Dec 13 only): $849 If you somehow managed to pull off a PM with best buy, it would be $825.

Samsung 46″ 1080p LCD LN46B540 See the difference? This one has already been posted for 899 with a now-expired coupon. Looks like a different video processor in there.
Best Buy: $999.99

Samsung 46″ 1080p LCD LN46B530 I didn’t see a thread for this specific model of TV and it looks lukewarm so there you go.
Future Shop: $999.99 PM pcvonline for $55 off.

Sharp 46″ 1080p LCD LC46D65 Aquos. It’s a 2008 model. 10 bit panel. Is it good? You tell me. The lowest price on Shopbot is $1499. But that’s probably because this model is about 14+ months old. AVSforums thread.
2001audiovideo: $997.99

LG 47″ LCD 47LH30 A 5% increase in screen area over the 46″ models. This is a low-end model according to cnet.com. Got a picture wizard for calibration though.
