If you own a Blackberry and have ever received the “SIM Card is Full! Please delete some SMS Text Messages” error message, it’s because your SMS Text messages are being saved to your SIM card and not the device memory.

Here’s what you need to do:

Step 1 (Delete Messages)

  1. Go into Messages
  2. Click on the menu button (Blackberry Logo)
  3. Select “View Folder”
  4. Scroll to and Select “SMS SIM Card Inbox”
  5. Delete Messages.

Step 2 (Set Future SMS Text to save to Device Memory)

  1. Go to Options
  2. Scroll to SMS
  3. Set “Leave Messages on SIM Card” to Yes
