Rogers raising 911 Fee by 50% on April 1st

As of April 1st, Rogers will be increasing the 911 Fee by 50%. Rogers will be joining Telus and Bell who already charge $0.75/month for 911 Fee. I know 50% sounds huge, but considering the original fee is only $0.50, the increase is only $0.25.

Rogers $30 – 6GB data plan is back

Rumours are floating online Rogers has re-introduced their $30 6GB data plan. This plan was first introduced in summer of 2008 when Rogers released the Apple iPhone 3G in Canada. The plan is not advertised on their website, but should be attainable by contacting their customer service line at *611.
