zoompass — send and receive money on your cellphone
Recently I discovered a great new alternative to EMT (email money transfer) and / or paypal for Canadian cellphone users.
You can send money and receive money to and from other Canadians using your cellphone with a service called Zoompass (http://www.zoompass.com).
It costs you nothing to receive money from other users. (The funds are deposited into your zoompass account; You can later transfer the funds from your Zoompass account into your bank account for a small fee of $0.50).
To send someone money, it only costs $0.50 (1/3 of the price of EMT – Email Money Transfer — Normally $1.50/transaction with most Canadian Banks).
You can use Zoompass with prepaid cellphone service too.
